salix factory

hi all
i am looking at going to get a bat from the salix factory but its a 2-3 hour drive is it worth going?

I've known people drive 3 hours down there, have to wait for over an hour and then get a less than special 15 minute session watching a bat be made that won't necessarily be the one you end up with.

Your more than welcome to visit on a saturday morning though i would recommend getting there at around 8.30am so you can be one of the first to be seen as it gets very busy with around 20 people to see regarding having there bats made in a short space of time.
In terms of time spent with Andrew, you will spend as much time with him as neccessary, going through wood stocks to find the bit for you before going onto profiles and weight.
After that the bat is posted onto you (or you can collect). In very rare occasions the bat may not perform or look as good as what you have paid for so someone would contact you and discuss further action - which could be trusting andrew to pick you an alterntative and finishing up before sending on for your approval.

Yeah no worries, I kept it without using was more the point I was making... :) - Ah well...
