haha true, but he's got to rely on communication from the field I guess as he's got his back to the runners... Nevermind he didn't miss, so all is good!

Never knew De villers was a keeper, and why is Gayles number 333?

 >:( You didn't know AB could keep?! Commentators always used to go on about how he would take the gloves for SA when Boucher retires.

Gayle's highest score is 333.
It's just how Murali has 800 on his shirt, as he took 800 test wickets.

Why the change of kit?

The first cricket box was used in 1874.  The first cricket helmet was introduced in 1974. So, it took 100 years for men to twig that their brains were also worth protecting.

They are part of a 'green' initiative so they changed their kit as a one off.

The great thing in hitting is, not to be half-hearted about it; but when you make up your mind to hit, to do it as if the whole match depended upon that particular stroke.

Organising a whole bunch of new uniforms for a one off (and all the costs associated) is pretty ridiculous in itself really!

It's similar to that ruddy concert a few years ago to promote green thinking, but the carbon footprint from it was enormous!

I heard Mallya jr saying they had reduced their emissions by 1500 tons. Knowing the scale of work the Mallya steel empire is responsible for, I think that would be like you or I saying we had reduced our emissions by not farting as much, just as we jump in our hum vees and drive to Scotland :D
