Yes, my father in law is the bat maker, and then my husband sells as he works for the ECB and also first team captain as Keynsham so has good contacts. I am just helping out really, trying to get us a bit noticed - and as on school holidays have a little more time to spare!
We have the bats pressed where we buy the bats from - so we have them as the clefts and then do the handcrafting process from there.. That way we know they are properly pressed. They come from down in Sussex, and the boys go down there and hand pick the wood.
