Jack Weston? (I didn't look at the link)

Apparently it was just 'his day' and has shown nothing else this year

I fancy that after going out to celebrate a 2:1 degree, and picking up a 73% dissy, tomorrow may well be a write off  :( 8 pints already and I.am not feeling particularly sober lol. Wish me luck lol.

were you playing brentwood?

Nope we were playing Edmonton, I was playing for Montenotte who play at North London on the shitter square ;)
Chipped a 6 into the trees but that isn't a demanding hit.
Adam was a very good bowler, very difficult to face with the new ball swinging it at pace I'd imagine. He's got a heck of a yorker on him, did for all our top 5, me included.

After 2 weeks with no cricket on Saturday I have a very busy weekend. 1 game today and 1 tomorrow, no idea how I will play after this long break(Played every game of the season up 'til the rain break)  I'm well up for it! I was starting to get a bit bored of playing cricket (Played more mens cricket in the first half of this season than I did in the previous two put together) and now this break has put me back in the mood to play cricket, lets hope this helps my performances.

Screw what I posted above. After getting beaten for the 6th game in a row I just can't be bothered.

Got demoted in the batting order down to number 7. After some horrifically slow scoring I came in with us on 160ish for 5 off 38 overs. Missed the first ball, 2nd ball smashed over the cover region for 4 then bowled 3rd ball. We somehow posted 199 off our 45 after a miracle batting display from the usually never reliable tail.

We had our two main bowlers both missing and we really felt it, I came on first change with the score at 60odd for 0, had a plumb LBW given not out on one of their openers, then the other edged and was dropped by our wicket keeper and then spooned one up only to be dropped by mid on. He was in the 30's when he got dropped both those times and went on to make 87 before finally getting bowled.

They chased down the total for the lost of just 2 wickets and we remain at the bottom, looks like relegation looms.

After getting completely bungalowed last night, surprisingly today wasn't such a write off after all. Played top of the league today. Kept them to 199-8 after 45 on a wicket where 250+ would have been the par score. We chased it down for the loos of 5 wickets with 14 overs to spare. Our no. 3 got 107 off 83 with 6x 6's. A very good knock. I finished things off with a cheeky 17* off 6. A good day at the office!!

After being all out for 85 last week I mistakenly thought things couldn't get any worse. All out for 77 and oppo knocked them off for 2. Halfway through the league season and only one win which was back in May. Batted for about 20 overs for 10 which was second top score. Game was over so quick we had time for a net session afterwards!

Nightmare day despite the win. Bowled oppo out for 149 with not much effort. We got it 3 wickets down in 28 overs.

My contribution.... Nothing. Didn't bowl a single ball and was down to bat at 7, really frustrating as our 2s had a really hard game which I would've been more useful in.

Unfortunate that Joe :( - But sometimes the way it goes... :(
I got 14 today, finally batting higher in the 3s at 5 :)
Thing is it was an unusual one, as I gave my wicket away going for very quick runs to make sure our opener at the other end stayed in.
This was because all the time he was intent on hitting out in a chase which really wasn't too hard (198 to win off 50 overs).
The odd thing was that I didn't feel that the spinners had me in any trouble at all, I just tried to loft the ball over cover for 4 and didn't quite middle it :(
But much happier now, odd though that when the captain doesn't play I do alright lol. ???
Fielded really well too, really happy with the way that the fielding has come on :) - Diving stop to a ball laced almost past me at midwicket :D :D
And best of all, 10 POINTS! Finally off the foot off the table, I think... ;)
