Played in a charity 6 a side comp yesterday. 5 overs per team, retire at 25, every fielder bowls.
Game 1 - 30* off 7 balls
Game 2 - 26* off 8 balls
Game 3 - 28* off 5 balls
Final -    26* off 10 balls

Last game of my season as fellow player gets married Saturday and 1st team loses about 6 players.
Bag in the loft already

Penultimate game of the season this Saturday... and I've decided to play football instead, combination of a bad season and not really enjoying it!

I don't think Mr Joyce enjoyed being carted by Burdy for 30 off one of his overs to be quite honest!

Lost to a football team in a T/20 last night. I got 24 before playing on from one which stuck in the pitch

Our team got 128 on a (No Swearing Please) wicket and thought it would be enough but they needed 5 from the last over in near darkness and I was asked to bowl it. First ball was 2 leg byes and 2nd ball was 4 byes. Nightmare

Lost again. We go down, though we knew that already.
The 2 teams above us winning didn't do us any favours as well and all... :(

Ah well.

Good win last league game of the season for us. We batted first and got 266 for 8 in our 45 overs I came in at 123-5 after 28 overs and got 58* off 47 balls with 8 x 4 and 1 x 6 and put on 66 in 8 overs with our number 4 who got 61 off 41.

Bowled the oppo out for 73 in 23.3 overs with our opener getting 6-39 off 12. Also all of their 10 wickets were bowled, something I've never seen before.

Nice win by 193 runs

Yesterday we won by 177 runs. We hit a mammoth 377, our opener scored 185. I contributed my first league duck for 2 and a half years which was slightly embarrassing! But a nice win to end the season :)

Worst thing getting a duck when your team gets a big one! First ball?

Haha, true! I was dropped down the order as we were experimenting with it being the last game, and the guy who took my place got out first ball of the match! I was bowled 2nd ball, and we were 377 all out haha. http://westofengland.play-cricket.com/scoreboard/scorecard.asp?id=11120567
