We had a charity 7 a side tournament yesterday, in memory of a team mate and coach who died 7 years ago. He was actually my coach at the time.
In the first game we were chasing 26 off 5 overs, I decided not to open so I could open in a harder game, as we had to rotate the batting order. When I did get the chance to open, I found it really hard to just go out and hit the ball. Hit a couple of nice 4's and then go out caught slog sweeping. I then had my eye in for the last 2 games where I hit some nice runs.
It was a good day and we raised around £400, it was a shame that th team that won didn't really rotate their order and one of them took it very seriously (he is a dick though, and called me a cheat earlier on in the league season).
