Had some adidas boots a few seasons ago - were the most comfortable boots I've ever had, but I got really fed up with getting wet feet through the ventilation holes in the bottom of them (major design flaw for english club cricketers!!)
Either side of the Adidas I've had pumas, which have been superb, apart from the fact that on Saturday, I though I'd change the spikes in them. A team mate wished me good luck, as he said Puma's were notorious for seizing up and then ripping the thread out - he wasn't wrong, so if I want spikes longer than about 3mm I'm going to have to buy new boots rather than just replacing spikes every couple of seasons.
I'm yet to try Nike or Asics (I'm a firm beleiver in buying cricket boots from specialist shoe companies) - my experience with Asics running shoes is that they're a bit too narrow for me, though I guess cricket boots may well have a different fit.
Nike are my preferred running shoe, but from a cricket point of view, they've always seemed over-priced, plus they've been in and out of the market, which makes finding older models at bargain prices a bit harder
