This Talisman fellow is also known as the Pod Father.
He does more miles and personal bat deliveries than anyone I know.
Watch out for him turning up on your door step with 3 or 4 20+ grainer bats all in your weight for you to choose from and the next thing you know you have bought two bats rather than one because they were just too good to say no to.
There are rumours of him having a base somewhere deep in the heart of Cider country and that he can supply all sorts of cricket equipment (and dodgy pingpong balls apparently) at excellent prices.
Catch him on a good day and your equipment will be with you next day, catch him on a bad day and it may take a month.
What can be said is that he has excellent contacts within the industry and has exacting standards and knows about willow.
He also bowls a vicious away swinging heavy ball.

a month you must be jokeing lol
but stand up guy and don't go near his boot !

I'm really keen to get a Talisman after seeing a fair few of them on here. I think I'm lucky I'm not working atm, otherwise I would have bought way too many bat's this year, ahah :D.

As I believe the guy who runs Talisman is a forum sponsor, however he doesn't want his own section.

Some say that Talisman can win a game of connect 4 in just 3 moves, others say he once shot a German WW2 plane clean out of the sky by simply pointing at it and shouting 'BANG'.

There were rumours at one point that Talisman was in fact 'The Stig' and during the 2006 Pakistan tour of England when Inzamam Ul-Haq was taken ill, Talisman painted his body and stood first slip for them, without anybody noticing a swap.

We dont know if any of this is true, all we know is that he is THE Talisman.

Some say his heart is made of pure grade 1 ++++++++++++ willow and that he invented the grip cone in a rather unfortunate way.
