I really wanted the B&S pads from this year (not the pollock range) but I don't think he has any left.

Pads - Kookaburra Ricky Ponting's from 2009, so comfortable, light and wrapped around the leg perfect for me.Also sat low on the foot which is what I need. B3 come close but not quite there.

Gloves - B3 sausage fingers, perfect flexibility and for somebody who has really sweaty hands i never seem to have to worry about soggy palms ( probably because im not at the crease long enough)

Gloves - ss limited editions. I've had them for a season and a half now and they have gone through some very long and sweaty innings. Barely any wear on them whereas a big brand have started to wear after 4 net sessions.

Pads- GM orginial lites from a few years ago. They were so light and comfortable I was amazed by them. They were small mens and actually fitted me. GMs weren't always designed for giants it seems.

Have used all sorts in the past but really can't complain at all about the SS Test Opener Pads and SS Sangakarra LE gloves I picked up 2nd hand and have used all this season.

At the moment I'm very happy with my softs
Kookaburra impulse 950 gloves
Optimax black edition pads really comfy and no massive straps either

Ayrtek pads and gloves - youth size - still provide top notch protection, just in a better fitting and much lighter package. Honourable mention to Salix gloves as well (the black palmed ones).
