I can remember his kook days just looked better but still better with the Ayrtek IMO as they are the best helmets out there

Anyone seen that the opener has an ss with no stamps but a hammer edge on little strange that one

Fair enough I will agree with that still love mine but will be more acceptable to people after this year as more and more pro's come to the dark side of the force

I think it maybe a newbery because on the handle sticker it looked like the one newbery use with just an 'S', where as SS use 'SH'.
But not entirely sure.

Kit aside, what did people think of yesterdays cricket?

I watched the channel 5 highlights. It looked as though England bowled well, without any luck.

Kept Sri Lanka to less than 3 runs an over, but were unlucky not to find edges. Didn't look like they bowled many bad balls.

Can see it petering out to a draw though having lost so much time already.

If England can pick up 2/3 quick wickets this morning then they will bowl them out quickly as there is no batting from 6 onwards

Maharoof is no mug with the bat, he averages over 30 for lancs although i'm not sure how the technique will hold up at international level.

England have bowled well but lacked wicket balls. Sounds obvious but can't help but feel as well as we've bowled, we've not been aggressive enough. Not the England of the winter Vs Aus
