Cadbury Bat/stickers
« on: May 26, 2011, 12:03:18 AM »

Hi, i've put this up elsewhere but hey, is anyone able to sell me a GT335 Cadbury (or any GT) or any part of the sticker set so I can sticker up the GT I will buy eventually somewhere. (any cadbury stickers will do, UZI, C6+, even only just single parts!)

Very hard to get hold of. The search function will give you plenty more details on them as they're very high in demand!

I can see, although it does suggest that there are some around... *prays* It would make my year. I spoke to John at the chalet a while back, he seemed to think I was going to waste it stickering a plank and said that he didn't know if he had any -I saw some on the counter at the side-and stickered my bat with...series 1.   :P

I've got a few left overs but they are none of the face or back stickers

Newbery rarely sell stickers, and the cadbury ones are so rare that even Mike couldn't get any a while back.

Has their policy changed then? Last year all you had to do was send them a photo of a Newbery bat and pay a few quid.

I believe it has.

What is the background story with them? You'd think newbery would manufacture a few (not too many) more. they would really rake the dough in!

It makes it harder for people to sell unbranded bats as Newberys. Makes perfect sense to me. If you want the stickers that badly, buy a Newbery bat. Simple as, really. Or if you already have one, send it back for a refurb and ask for stickers to be applied.

I know mate, I have a newbery grizzly and a newbery that i got refurbished last season. I asked for the stickers but they said that they didn't have any... My point was that they could sticker up a few bats at their shop and charge a bit extra because of the high demand.  :)
