Look at the initials below the Zenith logoAfter John Newbery's first bat company went bust (the Merlin in the above pic was from his first company) one of his staff, the marketing manager IIRC, founded Zenith bats, with John Newbery as an employee. Zenith didn't last long and John Newbery died in 1989. I think one or two pros used Zeniths including John Carr of Middlesex and Chris Cowdrey possibly when he was briefly England Captainhttp://www.google.co.uk/search?q=chris+cowdrey&hl=en&rlz=1C2GGGE_en-gbGB469GB469&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=HX5YUZDlFJC00QW3lYG4Dw&sqi=2&ved=0CAcQ_AUoAQ&biw=1920&bih=989#imgrc=hKmXKhnsKeMijM%3A%3BmpsfT_6QFkBsBM%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fbp3.blogger.com%252F_iI0tMUCnSXE%252FRqSIjMnphOI%252FAAAAAAAAAIs%252FCrxuQ72Bl0w%252Fs200%252Fs06.jpg%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fpartyreptile.blogspot.com%252F2007_07_01_archive.html%3B166%3B200
What brand is the bat with 2 red bands round the top of the blade, the bat is above the red bin?
Look what I found!!! - It's actually not that bad, it still taps up ok, and no cracks or splits. And what's that I see in the profile - is it a duckbill toe!!!I've got a veterans game today, and I'm going to try to use it.
Got one for sale if anyone is interested
