Yeah, Hauritz got 2 hundred's in a row for NSW. The selectors are either in denial or they are on some serious drugs if they think they are doing their jobs properly.

Are you sure that the chief selector hasn't got English roots?
We would far rather have the English bowlers against Hughes than against the classier Katich!!
Hughes is far easier to get out and is not even half the batsman that Katich is! Crazy times!!  :(

Maybe Hughes has been working on his game and has improved a massive amount?  ???

Hughes got 120 odd in the first innings of the shield final and got 96 in the second, so he found something. Katich got 97 in the first and not many in the second, but Hughes is no where near the class of Katich.

Don't forget that Hussey used to open, so its not like Australia has no hope, but Katich is deffinately miles better than Hughes
