I just played against a Norwegian team last month and they were pretty handy.
Im sure you will have fun.
Well I'm moving to Oslo in Jan so I'll be happy just to be playing any cricket over there tbh.

That's my way, bat through make sure we win, keep it nice and simple. If i stay at the crease boundaries are just a bonus cause it saves running

Nah not often, although did pay for it in this game, top edged a pull a la photo up there and got lucky, just skimmed my head and knocked my cap off. Somedays do, somedays don't. Just annoys me more than anything, especially when playing spin

I tend to wear one only for the reason of top edges etc...

Pretty thick handle of the talisman bat too - 3grips?

Nah just two, got small hands. Normal chevron and a thick spiral. Got lead tape round the top of the handle, although looking in the photos it does look quite thick! Had a couple miss my head by not much, worst one I got was keeping, down the legside and took off, got me on the lip, but had braces back then so cut up pretty badly!

I've got tiny hands to but 2 grips feels best for me. Chevron and a matrix normally do the job - how does this lead tape work then??

I never tend to wear a lid standing up either but think I should.... My face is to precious ;) lol!!

Keepingwise I hate wearing a lid, it's more about reactions up to quicks anyway, really should but dont, stupid really. Apparently lead tape/rolled up grip at the top of the handle works as a counterbalance to make the bat pick up lighter, there should be a big topic about it on here somewhere. Just got into the habit of it, never had a problem with it so did it to all my bats

this is the easiest way of getting hold of the lead tape - it does change the balance of a bat which can have a impact on your timing. That said I have used it too, typically putting a bit of led tape tape around the top of the handle, with a strip of cloth or pvc tape to protect it and then about an inch of an old spiral grip over the top. Not anywhere near my bat to take photo's for you, but I am sure you can imagine it!
