That did come across my mind as no one was out there, haha. He also seemed to go up, rather than crouch down, which didn't help him.... or me :D

In all fairness, it looks like a shot worthy of runs, or a good stop. So him taking one to the face is a worthy stop I think haha!

I played 3rd's and 4th's this year (Grade cricket). Aiming for 2nd's and 3rd's next year. - just gotta turn my starts into big scores. I don't know what to compare it too as I haven't been over in the UK, so don't know the set up over there, but maybe someone else knows?

That's our main oval (we have 4 of them) out at Graceville over here in QLD. The best part about it is that we have a grandstand, so that's pretty cool (attached a photo below). It is a really nice ground to play at, and the pitches are usually belters. They are actually relaying the deck, so once we had won the GF, they tore it up and have since begun the process of relaying it.

Pretty jealous mate, probably one of the best looking grounds too. The pizza restaurant behind your ground also stuck out for me! ;)

I bet the decks lovely to play on, very jealous!

I thought it was a pretty dead wicket actually with the White Lady funeral home in the background ;)

Here's one of me playing a Thorpey fiddle with a be-shorted emergency twelfth man standing at slip. Rather takes away from it really... :(
