resurrecting a very old thread here but are the kwik grip applicators no more? I noticed you had one @hell4leather cricket, where did you get yours? Is it just GM that do a vacuum applicator these days? and are they the same or was there some preference for the kwik grip over the GM? I have used a cone for years but after stripping some skin from my hands trying to get a grip into the right place too vigorously I'm thinking a change is needed!

Tried one of the GM sucky sucky things and it was a bit rubbish.
Only worked on certain types of grip (nothing knobbly, had to form a perfect seal) and even then it was a bit hit and miss.

@GoldenArm - Kwik Grips are far superior to the GM ones, don;t even bother with those.

I've been  after one for ages and can;t find them anywhere.

I use either the bags method, and 2 bags for 2 grips = easy.

Or connect my vacum cleaner to my GM applicator = easy

ah thanks Matt, now I remember you saying something along those lines when I came to see you. I'll nip into the DF factory shop and have a word.

@FattusCattus yeah I'm having similar trouble, google searching is turning up only draught excluders and glue!!

I have a GM Vaccum Grip, worst investment ever. Something similar that stretched the grip out (without suction) would be great. Not sure how this is possible though?

I'm not holding my breath but will do mate if they have any. Can't believe these things have disappeared off the face of the earth! Definite gap in the market here for any budding entrepreneurs.

I mean mine works just not for many grip types, i bought it hoping it would be a great alternative when in fact its just a waste of space in my bag because i can't trust it will work for that grip... and you can't always trust a grip will not have a hole in which defeats the object
