Is all that really necessary? Especially those pads and gloves, I could never begin to comprehend owning that amount of gear.
Is spending more than £XYZ on a cricket bat necessary, when the club probably has some, or you can get one for £50 from any half decent sports shop? Cricket in itself isn't a necessity, so why shouldn't one indulge? Think of Petehosk for example, he has more bats than I have career runs (must be close anyway!), some people like to collect rocks, some stamps, some STI's (snigger snigger), and CD likes to collect cricket kit! He probably uses all of it anyway! Haha

Fair enough, I agree it's nice to indulge. But that's a whole lot of indulgence :D

No kit as yet. Looking for some softs at a good price, don't need to be test match quality. Something British would be nice.  ;)

Hint hint anybody?????????

Wow 23 bats, that would leave me with 1 bat for each league match and one for nets! Some collection!

Cheers Tumo you have summed it up nicely, it indeed is collection now.

Fvan, unfortunately no mate.

Alba the SS you see is the bat I first got from my Grandparents in Pakistan in 2009, the bat beside it is tape ball with autograph of Mohammad Yousuf, Wahab Riaz and Nasir Jamshed while Legend has Wasim Akrams autographs

Quality, did you get them signed yourself? I'd love to meet Wasim Akram!

Which are your favoured match bats out of that lot?

Wasim Akram was here (in Canada) so took Legend because I thought Legend deserves Legendary treatment lol

Mohammad Yousuf and co one I was in Lahore so I went to camp and got it signed.

In 2011 it was BlackCat Shadow (old stcikers one) but in 2012 it will change most likely because I got new bats injected lol
