After having a good net outdoors this afternoon in the sun, I thought I would take a few pics of my 2012 kit whilst getting it out of the boot.
Apologies for the photo quality as I only had my phone to hand:
Bats-
Newbery Grizzly 3lb 2oz - One hell of a special piece of wood
Newbery Zeus 3lb 1oz - Massive oval handle, picks up much lighter than it's deadweight. A Mr Brimble special
AS V3 3lb - New purchase for the season
JS Wright blank, 2lb 14oz - picked from Steve's garage in Stoke last year. Big profile, stickered up with Puma M&H. All bats have anti scuff and 2 x grips
Puma Calibre tricks spikes
Puma Iridium 4000 gloves & Pads
Puma Cobalt 4000 gloves
Puma Iridium 5000 gloves

The best bat collection (grains wise?)

Scott, my lid is an old Albion. Does the job.
Of I was a better batsman then I would definately punt for an ayrtek. Love them.
I find puma softs superb. I'm oversized men's and they are the most generous in sizings.

Hi Blazer, have played a bit for Bromsgrove over the years but I'm back at Chaddesley Corbett. I netted this morning with the guys from Bromsgrove.
Who do you play for?

Just got a albion 98 original yesterday. Very decent. Yeah I would invest in an ayrtek to if I had the tallent! but I'm a tail-ender so I don't see the point. (at the moment!) and yeah I am a sucker for puma kit! especially their softs.

How did you get the Zeus with cadbury stickers?

Surely the worst batsmen need the better lids as they're more likely to get sconned?

If you were an awesome batsmen you'd just hook it out the ground instead

The Zeus was sourced by Mike (Talisman) he knew exactly what I was after and it exceeded my expectations. Cadbury stickers are pretty rare nowadays.

I see your logic but I'f you are a tailender like myself you don't get much oportunity to bat i.e less chance of being hit on the noggin! Hopefully one day I will be able to come in and open and Pull a bouncer out of the ground ;)

Nice, They look very smart mate. Very jelous!
