nice move - pick up bats on ebay cheaply and flog to Ausies who have price inflation on bats - claim to be in Aus - but actually the bat is being sent from the UK... well there is a market for it.

"I sourced this bat from an Indian state player who is also sponsored by SG."

won't it get held up in customs coming in? The slow delivery and postage labels would be a give away. Nothing I get from outside the UK looks close to a normal royal mail delivery sticker.

I have a brother in Aus, could get him to stick my bats on and do postage to Aus. Wonder what my £70 used Newbery would go for over there?

I've noticed that customs isn't as strict over here as it is over there.

I was thinking the same thing, send it to a Relative in Australia, then have them send it on. Could probably get away with saying that it 'must have been held up', and the buyer would be none the wiser

my brother was importing motorised golf trolleys from the UK, which originally gave me the idea as he might have some space in the container for a few extras.

tbh, if I was posting from the UK I would say as it's not fair on the customer.

I would do the same, let them know as it is the right thing to do, and they can plan to be home for when it arrives so it doesn't get nicked. Also, when you're waiting for your gear it is a painful wait untill you have the gear in your hands, and nothing would be worse than expecting it in 2 or 3 days, only for it to arrive 2 or 3 weeks later.

I have been wondering for months who this guy is.

This guy is making an absolute MOLTZA on Gunn and Moore bats. He stickers up other bats with GM stickers (although he does usually say its not a GM, but a first class cricketers bat). I couldnt understand it as in Australia, GM stickers are all bar impossible to get.

Every posting is the same and how "he sourced it from a first class cricketer".

Can I ask if you are implying anything? As in, how would he get it?

I have reasonable contacts in Australia, well as good as you can probably get (I.E - I know the 'GM' guy), and while we arent best mates, he assures me 100% there is no chance, that I, or anyone else can get them here.

Edward Lowy (MD of Unicorn, GM Parent Company) has stated on the forum that you can't get stickers from GM outside of sending a GM bat back for a refurb, when it will come back with GM stickers on it.

It actually says it is posted from the UK
