Cockspur Cup Twenty20 Finals Day!
« on: September 18, 2011, 07:36:44 PM »

Anybody gonna watch this? Chester-le-Street CC from my area are in it and would strongly bet on them to win it! They have lots of quality players, Liam Simpson who open's the bowling is fairly nippy as well as having Alan Mustard (Phil's brother) and Richie Waite who certainly gives it a whack! Greg will know more as he's played against them no doubt!

If Tye and Hunter are playing, surely they'll open the bowling, they bowl heat.

Hmmm I dunno mate whenever I've seen them I've always though Simo was quickest there after Luke Evans? Never seen Hunter bowl to honest with you!

St Just are from my area, played them twice this year. Opening batsman Dave Roberts who used to play for Northants is absolutely class! Keeper Gavin Edwards is one to watch as well, very good hitter of a ball. They don't have a huge amount bowling wise, the overseas pro is fairly sharp but tends to spray it, you'll recognise him because he has crazy hair! Nick George is a very good off spinner for them and could be a danger man with the ball.

Can't wait to watch it!

Simpson bowls a heavy ball, but i'd say tye has a yard.  Would also back them to win the comp.

Ah, forgot this was on. Haven't got a clue about the other teams in the comp but I'd imagine Chester le Street gave a fairly decent chance if winning it, got a number of match winners in the side.

Club cricket on Sky, fantastic!

Hyde are in the league my former team are in. Many good players who play minor county cricket. Such as James Duffy and Daniel Berry. Many other good players to watch out for. COME ON HYDE!!!
