H4L bat and that will be it unless I spot some decent pads that take my fancy..

Expensive but feels great in the hands.

humm nice hockey stick grip - perfect for this time of year!

I tried a hockey grip on my bat but it wasn't that comfortable and the feel wasn't great either.

Disappointed that you are not using a Lekka bat there James ;)

Not sure they are that expensive - certaily cheaper than one of your new combi grips? :o

Paddy's refer to these grips as Hurling Grips.

It is a Lekka bat , maybe the V900 decals threw you off guard.

These will retail for a clear tenner , bargain considering one will not need to use any gloves :)

not even a little top hand protector to stop the astro burn?

£10... you have been ripped off?
All these are under a £5er http://www.kickbacksports.co.uk/Products/Search.aspx?Phrase=grip&Category=Hockey&Brand=&Price=A

A tenner is nought on a £500 priced bat :)

In percentage terms you have a point - £10 is only 2% of £500, but £4 is 2.67% of £150... :o

I need a new medium sized wheelie bag and if possible a small-ish thin-ish thigh pad.
I bought one of these d7bow - http://www.sportsdirect.com/slazenger-county-v95-holdall-859116 - All you'll need for under a tenner. It's a solid looking bag too.

I chuck in the £10 grip with a £500 bat :) (fitted of course)

% it all you may but find me an 80" length high grade quality grip for less than a ten spot and we can talk turkey. lol

Personally I rate the grips , maybe £10 is to cheap.

Looking at:

Ayrtek premier lid, green.
Newbery SPS1 Gloves or H4L LE gloves (or both if I loose my control :D)
Newbery keeping pads, SPS or Tour depending on fit feel etc.
Newbery Tour keeping gloves or the M&H Suede ones (again im torn, dont need both.....)
A couple of pairs of keeping inner gloves.

All I really still need are Blue pads, though i might be tempted to trade in my old maroon masuri for a nice blue and white Ayrtek now I've moved clubs.

There was some blue pads on the forum the other day... Kooka about £20
