Played today.
We bowled first as we were unsure of what the weather was going to do, and due to the way the over reductions work etc you have the advantage if your chasing.
We went off in the 28th over (2 balls into my 6th over) and lost 4 overs from each innings.
They made 162-7 having been 150-4 at the start of the 42nd over.
I bowled 6-2-19-2, 8 runs of which came off the 4 remaining balls of my interrupted over. I bowled well actually, good accuracy and turned it a mile. One of my wickets was to a left hander, around the wicket pitched on middle turned and bounced leading edge straight up, taken by the keeper. My second wicket was just one tossed up on middle stump smashed down long-ons throat. I didn't bowl after the interruption for rain.
Was down to bat at 7, we ended up winning by 6 wickets... Quite a professional run chase TBH kept a long with the required rate quite comfortably before accelerating and winning with quite a few overs to spare.
Good day out really

Got 79 yesterday, batted 3 and had quite an important role seeing as our experienced batsmen all got out! The overseas guy got 71 NO and tha cap'n (who's a god awful batsman) pitched in with 22.

We just got home bowling them out with 12 runs to spare. 20 points is a nice boost.

Posted on another forum from the bank holiday Monday

Wow....
Today was complete and utter domination from my Torpoint side.
We lost the toss and after a delayed start because of rain we were put into bat. The match was reduced to 42 overs a side, we started steadily ticking over at 5-6 runs an over thinking this is a good steady start, up came the 50 partnership, then the 100, then the 150, then the 200, then they both brought up their centuries and up goes the 250 partnership! 2 balls later 250/1 off of 37.4 overs One opener bowled for 103. Our number 3 comes out and smashes 2 fours to finish the over. First ball of the next over = 2. The next a wicket our other opener goes for 122. Then hell was unleased from 260/2 off 38.2 we finished on 320/2 off of 42. Our number 3 finishing with 40* off 11 (7x4 2x6).

We came out to bowl, 3rd ball of the innings, top edged C&B by our opener. They managed a bit of a partnership but never attempted to chase our total, dragged themselves to 40 odd of of 15 overs before their other opener was bowled. Another slow partnership before their number 4 batsman was run out from square leg. We stopped for drinks with them 72/3 off of 21. I was given a shout to get loose, unexpected TBH as it had been drizzling all day and the ball was very wet. First over was hit for 8 runs captain considered taking me off but our VC said to give me another go as 1 over wasn't enough and most of their runs had been fairly streaky(2 edges for 2 runs each). Turned out to be the right decision, next over floated one up outside off turned back a yard and pegged back their number 3's midde stump Out for 44. Continued pressure, quicker ball trapped one batsman plumb infront, next ball the "wrong-un" to the new batsman, off the edge, off our keepers glove and into the hands of slip. Hattrick ball, played miles inside the line, outside edge difficult catch dropped at gulley resulting in a scampered single. Next ball quicker one again plumb infront. 3 wickets in 4 balls. Picked up another one later on to complete the 5fer. Made a point of looping it up ad turning it onto the right handers pads did this for 4 balls consecutively before bowling the arm ball, offstump pegged back. In amongst all this I had 2 edges dropped by 2 different keepers. But I won't complain I got my 5fer.

8 overs,
4 maidens,
12 runs
5 wickets.

Ignoring the first over it = 7-4-4-5

Today =
7/36 off 11.
Was on a hattrick again, but didn't realise it as it was one of those last ball of one over + first ball of another over jobs. So Monday + Sunday = 12/48, pretty gun IMO.

Rubbish day today - gave up my cup final ticket to play cricket. Promptly made a duck, didn't bowl, and we lost to Chelsea. At least we won the cricket match.

Yesterday, local derby - got a duck, bowled by one that pitched about halfway and didn't get above my ankles, meh lol. Fielded very well though - plenty of diving stops, caught someone who had just switched from our club to theirs first ball at short cover with a diving catch. Good day in the end, gutted about the batting though.

got a game today so went down on the bowling machine this morning and got dad to record it! (ignore is speaking! lol)

this wasn't the best i had batted as this was my 4th rack and i was losing my concentration with all the heat.

this was at 70mph with a little bit of in swing

Im gettin wrist ache lol
u need to take leg stump guard as you walk right across ur stumps like i do, and u also walk into ur shot which means ur not balanced i had the same problem but got told to stand up straight exagerated like owais shah or ab de villiers other than that u look really good-the sped also looks to quick for you to perfect ur technique
