Not had an ayrtek, but I'm on my 2nd aero, and that's falling apart at the seams too. I'm looking at the hunts county stand up bag for my next one

Ours isnt a solid walled version like the Aero bag as iv had the smaller and tour version of the Aero bags. The idea was to allow it to fit into the car easier and taking up less space.

How is the build quality compared to the Aero??  and How protective are the bat holders?

My honest opinion...We have had a few issues with the handles which are fine for dragging it across the field/car park but i wouldn't recommend trying to use it to lift a full kit bag with...hence the grab handle on it for carrying up stairs etc.

Bat holders are well padded t protect your bat as its in all likelihood the most expensive part of your kit. I know a few people keep a bat cover inside the bat pocket as an extra layer of protection.

My bag has lasted me the season with the knocks and wear and tear of being dragged about and is fine, constantly looking to improve things and will have new improved handles on the next order we place....currently have a decent stock though so this wont be just yet.

yeah its a decent bag mate. only issue i have is i some times find it hard to find stuff because the bag doesnt open like the full width of it.

when ive got all my keeping gear and everything in middle bit i tend to spend ages looking for stuff lol

just dont abuse the handle or it will come off.

other than that its a decent bag!

just another option to throw into the mix, have a look at the warsop platinum bag, love mine, 3 bat compartments and very sturdy.
