Jambo - PM Washington, he's a fitness trainer and he gave me some very good advice. You can see how I've trimmed down from my batting videos!!

Get swimming. I've been doing it 4 times a week for the last month to strengthen my knee (long standing injury) and my fitness has improved dramatically and feel much stronger too. Doing 80 lengths a day now!

On the diet front, I'm calorie counting using the 'myfitnesspal' app (can get it on android or iPhone) - I thought it would be a ball ache, but it's been really good for making me more conscious of food choices

If you are looking for something to help alter your diet then look no further than this:

http://www.neilmct.com/diet-plan.html

I have a copy of it if you want it, just put your e-mail down and I'll send it out.

Will save you a few pennies.

Also if you are looking for somewhere to start at then this would be a decent starting point:

Full body workout, with 3 weight sessions a week, and 2 cardio in-between. This is how it works out:

Monday: Weights
Tuesday: Cardio
Wednesday: Weights
Thursday: Cardio
Friday: Weights
Saturday: Cricket / Football Game (Cardio)
Sunday: Rest

During the days I do weights I alternate between Workout A & B:

Workout A
Squats
Bench Press
Deadlift
Military Press
Chinups / Pullups

Workout B
Hack Squats
Dips
Stiff Legged Deadlift
Dumbbell Shoulder Press
Bent Over Rowing

Sets and Reps 3x10, starting with a weight I can just fail the last rep on the last set. When I can do 3x12 I up the weight, and so on.

The Cardio I do is mainly HIIT which is the best to shed fat.
