same greg. i dont think il bother with the gum shield though. is it 18 or 19 btw?

18 because your an adult then but you have to wait till the end of the season your playing so U19 year

no because the season hasn't started i think, just go out without one i doubt many umpires will challenge you

yes it is like this

if u are 17 at the start of the season and within a month of the season gone u turn 18 u have to wait until next season, so basically the season u start when ur 18.

its also the same with bowling restrictions on seamers on the amount of overs!

yeh it is mate!, i wud still wear a helmet anyway i find it hard to bat without one as im scared to play a lot of shots and if the ball gets above weist height i generally (No Swearing Please) myself without a helmet!, and as u have grown up with one shud be comfy and used to it, not like them oldies out there! ;)

Will always wear one when batting even against spin, as i sweep quite a bit and i dont fancy eating more cricket balls than i have too! Keeping is a different matter

Cant belive there is still this macho nonsense about wearing a lid, wear one people! A cricket ball can seriously damage your face and not to mention your eyes.......
