I already had gloves sorted so got some pads that match them.
Otherwise I would possibly have gon H4L softs too!

Just a little update.

Giving this a good hour on the mallet today, toe, edges etc with the occasional wack in the middle, and it seems to get better and better!
Even the response of the bat away from the middle is unreal!

my excel picks up lovely as well.

the 2,9 hattori felt slighlt bottom heavy(which i like)

but my excel is just very very well balanced

They are! Sold my Talisman so I could get this, and I have to say, I think this picks up far better than that does IMO.

Just can't wait to get it in the nets and see what she's really made of!

Well I weighed this today with some scales I have acquired and without a grip and scuff sheet it would be 2lb12.26
So pretty much bob on what 97no asked for!

Used this tonight in our first winter nets (after the bat I bought for nets decided to disintegrate ) and my word she goes well! Need to give the toe another half hour with the mallet I think, and then she will be well and truly ready.
