Anyone know anything about these? I've heard they're really good, but have never used one? Like the stickers as well.

Callen cricket bats are amongst the most underrated bats going around, in my opinion. The bats are made by Ian Callen who was taught by Chris Hext Farrant while he was at Hunts County in the 80s.

I've had one of his bats since the mid 90s and its the best bat I 've owned and used. They seem a bit harder pressed than an average bat, and take a while longer to knock-in for that reason, but the sweet spot on mine is superb.

He also has his own willow plantation in Australia, which Geoff Watling of Anglian Willow helped him with.

He's also a very friendly guy in my experience.

All in all I can't recommend them/him enough

He came to visit my club in England top guy played for Australia. From what I remember he is the only person that makes bats using australian willow... he has a house on his willow tree farm. He also gave us a bat to raffle off (nice of him). Never met anyone who loves everything about cricket as much as him, he creates his own coaching videos and has a site set up for clubs to login to for a subscription. anyway back on to his bats he brought a lot down and the top couple of ranges looked really nice and although aesthetically not the best the shape and performance is brilliant!

Julian Millichamp has some australian willow trees, whether he makes from them I do not know.
