Had a chat with my Suffolk bowling coach tonight and got some good plans. He came to the conclusion that it was my run up was curved which meant that was why my front foot came across the back foot. So we're changing it to a more straightened run up and a side on action. He's also going to get me doing some extra core exercises too :)

mate, what level is your coach. If you're action is front on, changing it will screw you over. There is nothing wrong with a front on action. Change your run up yes, but not your action. Look at how many successful bowlers have a front on action.

Level 3 I believe. I currently have a mixed action, so it was choosing to go either way! I tried it tonight & it felt alright, but obviously its only day one of it. Will have to see how it goes, its just finding what works for me and helps my back I guess!

R.C when you feel the most comfortable bowling, feel the rhythm, do you get the ball to swing? if so is it outswing or inswing?

I mostly swing the ball away from the right hander but look to set them up & bowl the in swinger, though at the moment it is more of keeping its line but working on getting it to come back more :)
