Got mine back today. Excellent service, and really pleased with the end product. Trainers were £38 from SportsDirect and with the total cost with spiking being about £70, I think it's a no brainer to get some made instead of buying cricket spikes.

Sorry for the quality of photos, don't do them justice!

The only downside is that they don't last as regular cricket shoes.

Whats the likelihood of you doing some in a day for me?
As i may be coming down to taunton for the day this friday so might try and kill two birds with one stone and get some done whilst im down there

I'd imagine he's quite a busy guy although the amount of spikes he's been doing recently, He is probably getting quite adept and bashing these out pretty quickly. I went in just before the test series vs SA started and the place was full of Spikes. I'd recommend giving him a call and im sure he'll help you out. As for longevity the spikes i had done at the beginning of this thread have seen a fair few wet outfields and sudden downpours and they are holding up very well. No glue coming undone or rubber peeling away. Ive now had two sets done and id recommend it to anybody, just for the uniqueness factor.
