Evening everyone. Just got back from a net session with the lads and I still can't believe how well it went. I never usually feel great in the nets but tonight was just.... Different. Batting wise my timing was better than ever as was my patience and shot selection. I've never felt as good in a net, or out in the middle. Then bowling went very well afterwards, line length and turn was consistent. Anyone who knows me will vouch for my terrible bowling efforts. For the first time ever it all came at once tonight and I just hope it wasn't a complete fluke :) has anyone else had a day or an evening where it all seems to have fallen into place?? I feel great after tonight, I just hope i can carry that to the season now.

being a bit harsh on yourself with your bowling. You've bowled pretty well for us on Sundays, not to mention your death bowling in our t20 game at Ledsham.

Cheers nick mate just felt different tonight. Nothing loose etc or really hittable. Batting just felt immense. I'll probably be complete garbage next week but while I'm on a high I thought i would share and see who else has enjoyed this feeling :) Mr Buzz is too strict for me CD I think he would throw a stump at my aggressive technique. Plus I wear aeros so I'd be straight in the bad books lol

Ours started 3 weeks ago   8)

Haha funny Reds!! Ive been using 2 bats recently my RPC custom which is just ridiculously good and a friends much heavier BAS Which I'm slowly falling in love with even though it weighs 2.13  :o picks up like a dream though and my god does it ping.

Don't belittle yourself. Seen enough of you to know you are a pretty decent batter and cricketer in general. Your knocks at Cawthorne and Knaresbrorugh Forest were top notch. We'll not mention Ledsham though...

Very jealous! We had one at the beginning of January, had a few indoor games here and there, but just want to start netting now!

5 weeks in nov, started again 2nd week of Jan. 10 sessions already and 1 bowling machine session last Sat. Only thing I have to show for it is a bad back!
