Thigh pads
« on: February 12, 2012, 06:09:05 PM »

I bought a set set of inner and outer thigh pads but after using them in in yesterdays nets but the inner pad is to big and the outer pad is to curved and also a little on the big side.

So anybody have any recommendations for a set that offers protection up to 80mph.

Well jonnyw on here has a top set which are being improved even though only minor changes and protect against that pace as used them myself and pedals on here can testify as he thinks they are bees knees

A little like Buzz (only a little!) I'm very fussy about thigh pads and when Roco produced a pair of Shamrock ones he was helping Jonny develop at our last net together I had to try them. They are superb! Large, light, comfy and don't move around my leg like most other pads I've had. Definitely worth checking out....

Haven't got any pics but if you find petehosk's youtube channel (link in the 'hair cutter' thread at the top) I am wearing them when I'm batting...

Thanks guys for recommending my thigh pads. Alot of work has gone into the design and shape of them and there are a few alterations currently being made them from the first batch produced.

They will be back in stock inside the next couple of weeks hopefully with the new designs. They will be in large mens, mens and youths. I can post photos of them in a few minutes to show you what they look like but the next batch is going to be slightly different

You got me worried then, I didn't remember ever posting them! They are Itias cricket ones. Great protection but didn't fit me very well, but then, most thigh pads don't fit me very well  ;)
