Looks more of a forward press to me.

Looked to me as feet were set on middle & then a forward press as well.

on the technique - I think he looks significantly more comfortable against the legspin personally which is unusual.
He appears to be taking guard on Middle and Off and then using a forward press movement. Personally I think this is making him look unbalanced against the offspin.
His execution of the sweep looked terrible - but then I think he was premeditating every shot to try and work the ball into the "gaps" or targets.
Having said that what a wonderful player he is to be able to premeditate like that and still look a class act

yeah like buzz has said dont forget he was forcing the balls to hit the targets etc..

so not really his natrual game i was loving the switch hit

Bell looks a more natural off side player to me and prefers to open the face and play towards off. He isn't in the mould of KP who would favour leg and the ball coming into him. Sweeping too low for me, needs to go down on the ball. Footwork is very good, looking at it again he takes very small steps but lots of them.

Bell has all ways vastly over rated against spin. Flogging spinners around in England doesn't mean your can play spin. The ball only turns in England late day 4 and 5.

The only time he has dominated spinners on turning pitches has been in bangladesh. Hardly the most threatening spinners around.
