Play in the Somerset division of the WEPL, be interesting to see what their aspirations are like because for a town like Yeovil, i would have thought they should be at least 1, maybe 2 divisions higher!

Now now mate, that's not very nice! Was offered to go and play for Sherborne but not being able to go any higher than Dorset prem was something that didn't really appeal to me!

Played a school game against Wellsway today, they got 221 in their 30 overs with Tom Bancroft getting 100+*, I got 1-9 off 2 as everyone got a bowl. Opened up with a year ten who's awesome called James Bracey, I got 38 slogging because we needed 7 an over and I couldn't play Russell Simmons properly as he's pretty quick by my standards. Bracey ended up with 69 although we fell 50 odd runs short in our 30.

Would that be the brother of Sam B??

I think we'll see more of people playing closer to home with the current  petrol prices. Doesn't make sense to travel 30 miles to play a home match. I use to do it and it's like playing another 10 away games. Pleased to hear it's working out.

You know what I mean though, Yeovil isn't the most athletic place and half the people are Polish, and I doubt they play cricket! Don't even both going anywhere near Sherborne, its a club full of Muppets!

But with all due respect to places like Ilminster and Chard, Yeovil has probably double the amount of people (if not more yet are playing 3 divisions lower). Doesn't make any sense to me at all!

That's just it though.... thats Dorset Prem and Moxom scores runs in that league, couldn't do anything in B&S last year, so the disparity between the 2 leagues isn't that great, so would rather play 2 minutes from my front door.

Fair enough! Yeah, Moxom came back because he was struggling because of work, but really it was because he couldn't buy a run in the B&S League.

Moves a foot in bucks due to length of games + travelling.

Bucks is a funny one. 2 or 3 different league go across the county and into others. You in the cherwell? I could imagine the TVL clubs would be complaining.

Who you playing, James Bracey?

Sam plays for Glos 2's and Frocester 1st XI. I know he played with a few of my mates for England under 19s in the Indoor world cup in SA last year.
Yeah Peps, he's brother of Sam as equally as good imo, just a bit younger.
