Nicest ALL cane batting pads?
« on: March 25, 2012, 09:58:44 PM »

Just for fun- In my humble opinion 2012 SPS look the nicest of the traditional style batting pads.

By traditional I mean ALL cane - anyone think differently? Particularly interested to see non mainstream brands....?

Vote for the UK legend also. Much nicer than the Oz legend IMO.

Adidas Adipure looks pure also as do GM LE

Best two sets of pads I've owned.

Blueroom were a bit stiff to start off with and the Ayrtek are absolute class as well.

After Legends, I'd say SS Platinum, they are quite brilliant too!

You're talking to a Softs novice here... do you mean Chase or...?

Best two sets of pads I've owned.

Afraid these don’t count as “Traditional” in my opinion. More of a mix/ inbetween.

Traditional would be all cane. Would just about let Legends slide.

Like the SPS:

Keen to see pics of these… SS Test Opener (Asian)/ Limited Edition (UK) are available for general retail and are pretty nice. So wondering how these differ?

Keep em coming... I suspect there are fewer and fewer companies producing ‘full cane face’ batting pads?

We will have to agree to disagree then because the legends are in the same bracket as both the BR and Ayrtek in terms of design and materials used etc.
