I've sold a couple of bits via this forum! And bought a few bits too! The people on this forum are a great source of info! And I'd much rather sell my bits on here to people I know that will get the best out of it! I've only been on here since jan, and have found out so much about the cricket industry!

Didn't think you could post bats with fake stickers on the forum?

I posted the photos of the bat knowing what bat it is and also that the stickers a not genuine, I would agree that posting photos of bats with fake stickers up for sale is a no no, but not when showing off a fine bit of willow where it clearly states the original bat makers name in the post

I thought it was still against the rules to put pictures of bats with fake stickers on the forum full stop. Regardless of whether its a post like this or a for sale one

Please can I remind members that supporting the use of fake stickers is not tolerated on the forum and may cause you to get banned

Seriously - we support brands, from the smaller end to the more exclusive end, so using fake stickers does not fit nicely with this position.

Normally members are pretty accepting of this - but there has been a slip with the recent improvement in quality of the fake stickers on ebay.

Unfortunately there is no place for these on this forum

Looks like I will have to get hold of warsop and see if they would be willing to resticker it for me or get hold of sum forum sponsors stickers. don't want to step on any toes

As the fake kook stickers caused a bit of a storm I decided to change them for these

IMHO some of the best stickers on a cricket bat....I also managed to use the plastic bag trick to put the new grip on, never thought it would be that easy...
