Mongoose Cor3 Premium
« on: May 20, 2012, 10:39:14 PM »

Was on ebay but seller wanted cash on collection, I obliged . It weighs 2'9 and has 7 fairly straight grains. Given it a quick tidy up with the sander. Unfortunately the previous owner ripped a scuff sheet off and it pulled some of the surface wood off, nothing major but it makes the face look less tidy than it might of otherwise been. Very slight surface crack near the toe but nothing major wear wise. Going to stick a scuff sheet and reinforce the toe, not sure if I'm keeping it or not yet.

yes but I may have to sell it as I have 3 other bats in use and 4 is pushing it when you aren't getting in much (thanks to some good batting).

Chatting to the previous owner, he also had a carbon backed Kook which he claimed to of received from Graham Thorpe. It was made for thorpe for the tour to Aus and he never went, somehow finding it's way to this guy. Took it with a pinch of salt but it looked a fairly chunky stick and loved the carbon backing. If I'd been more flush I might of taken it off him.
