Bat Shape
« on: May 24, 2012, 01:25:17 PM »

After our little poll on grains I thought I'd move on to wood distribution, again this is purely based on what profile you prefer in the bats that have worked for you, no talk of pressing , middle position or weight, just what shape has brought you runs.

I've simplified it a bit into 5 basic options, obviously a mid spine and concaving will produce the big edges but I'm more concerned with the overall profile.

Thanks

High Spine, No Concaving or at least as little as you can get whilst keeping the bat at a sensible weight..!

I'm thinking Mjolnir in my mind....

Mid spine, no concaving so that there is decent amount of wood around the edges and toe

Nope, just a little interaction to pass the day, there might even be a point to it at the end of it all ;)
