With 28 odd grains it should play in quite quickly!
Lovely classy profile on it too!
The SAF and Pack look rather nice as well!!!!  8)

thanks pete :) was bouncing the ball on it and felt good so will take the mallet to it over the weekend when wife and baby are out...

RPC is fantastic and hades is impressing me more every time i use it, its one of those that looks tiny but hits the ball very very well...

I find it depends on what type of scuff sheet is used as to whether the bat marks - for example, the self healing Puma ones barely mark at all, whereas hammer edge sheets are red all over after 5 net sessions.

I have been using the Chase Scuff sheets that cover the whole edge and they leave a mark every ball near enough.

I have had a thought .............

surely its better for the batsmen to have the scuff sheet make a mark as it knackers up the ball for the bowlers ... takes the shine off it???????

I've always called it swinging the old ball. Hadn't realised I was "reverse swinging" until it appeared on TV.

Cheers Toby. There is for the Hattori - http://custombats.co.uk/cbforum/index.php?topic=13184.0

I haven't done one for the Excel yet, only got it from Matt a couple of weeks ago, been knocking it in and didn't play last week but will do one soon  :)

Hattori looks a gem!

I was thinking the same sort of shape for my next bat :)
My H4L is an Excel and i love it! The middles just a tad high...
