I thought it was probably about time I reviewed my Great White Shark bat that I bought earlier this season, and whilst I'm at it I'll do a quick review on the re badged L&W I bought from Ryan and used at nets last night.
First up the Great White 5 fin. Well I love it! This is a monster of a bat the edges are huge (as you can see from the pics I took when I first got it
http://custombats.co.uk/cbforum/index.php?topic=15947.15), and on the odd occasion when I have edged behind it's flown for 4. The pick up is very good indeed and it's a nicely balanced bat, if you middle the ball there's no point in chasing it! The only change I would possibly want would be to have an oval handle, but this doesn't detract from it in anyway. All in all a great purchase and worth every penny.
Next up is the L&W Heritage I bought from Ryan, if I love the Great White, I am absolutely head overheels in love with this, and that's only on the basis of 1 net session! It's a tad lighter than the Shark, but the pick up and overall balance is perfect for me, it has a great ping and the replacement handle Ryan added doesn't detract from it in anyway. It does need a little more knocking in as Ryan advised me, but I'm happy to do that as I can't wait to use it in a match.
Both will be on full display during the CBF AOC game at the end of next month if Buzz picks me
Any questions on either let me know and I'll do my best to answer
