Bledlow also use to do Sunday lunch prior to the game if you turned up early enough. Don't see the point of this thread without pictures  ;)

Ticknall CC is a nice ground.

Quite agree on the pictures.  Bledlow is also one of the few places left where you geta  crowd, and the last place I've been clapped off by home fans!

What with the oval velodrome round half of it

Got to agree the setting at Richmond is special

Just to re-enforce what a good deck it is at North Marine Road, here's a match report for my former team

I played at Old Brentwood's for 16 year's beautiful ground, sporting wicket. Though the best I have played on I must say is the ground at John Paul Getty's home in Buck's. The wicket is county standard, but the scenery around it is awesome, absolutely beautiful.

Stroud CC, Lisvane CC, Calne CC, Corsham CC. First few that spring to mind.

Interesting you say Stroud.. I'll be playing there this year against them. Look forward to it now

I play for Corsham, but it is the best ground I've played at. A lot of other grounds don't come close.

have to say, I think the best ground to play at is: Stowe school 1XI pitch, absolutely awesome

doesnt show it off fully, but Northamptonshire 2nd XI play there, and it is amazing

My memories of Ashover was snow on the ground and it being bloody freezing! Enjoyed Blidworth last year with a quick fire 40 odd not out in a run chase after a nice little 3 for 20 odd from a 13 over spell, but it's not very picturesque but a nice ground all the same.
