yes the pads are the two strap and I love them, I have never liked three strap pads as the top strap usually digs into the back of my knee and they were cheap off eBay, I would love to use the forum for everything but sometimes half price is well its half price!
The Icon was from Lorrimers, so they hand selected their bats, the Apex again hand selected but from Romida, both before I discovered this place.  I have just taken off their anti scuff sheets, to give them a sanding and prep, the Icon has literally no pick up, yet I still hit the ball into the groundsman's shed twice (long boundary as well) in a charity game, I got it because Trott used them, naive I know but what a great bat.

If you buy the bat you have a selection of colours you can have, red, blue, yellow etc.
