Maybe I should use the part that's meant for hitting the ball..? Gonna blame nets for those, unrealistic amounts of bounce!

Got to say those SAF stickers are much nicer than their standard ones in my opinion - really like the clear black/purple stickers in this design too.

Yeah I couldnt resist when it came up on here, fancied a SAF for ages.

Haven't got round to using it yet though, same with the RI.

The GM is a gun too, used it on Sunday for first time in a while. Forgot how meaty the middle is.

I'm pretty happy with that as a collection though. Think the SAF/RI will get used this weekend, one of them at least.

And yeah I think the stickers are quality, really finish the bat off well

Finally got my gear sorted for this season;-

Almost all my kit - minus Asics trainers + clothing which consists of 2x Newbery whites and an old Brighton College Cricket Jumper.

Close up of the bats;

Custom 2'8 Fatbats - Custom 3lb RK stickered as Newbery Tour - Refurbed 2'10 Kook Bubble 5 Star - Refurbed 2'8 (current weight) LH Slaz V500 Supreme with blade shortened by 1inch (stickered as V12) - Salix Pod Performance (free courtesy CricketDirect)

New Helmet is on the shopping list as that GN one is around 10 years old otherwise pretty happy with my lot.

As my BB arrived from soulman yesterday i now have all my kit for the season:

(left to right)

2.6 msr net bat, decent ping and does the job for a light bat, really happy with it for 30 quid
not weighed it but feels around 2.9 i think its tim keeley made, knot in the toe but response with the mallet is ridiculous! Really suits me probably my match bat this season.
2.10 spyer legend, nice ping and not concaved so lots of meat around the blade.
masuri steel helmet
spyder venom pads, i would recommend these to anyone best pads ive used by a mile, reversed canes so great protection but also very comfy ,also very light.
ascis, not sure what model but very comfy and serving me well into their second season now
sypyer sausage style gloves cant really see them but likewise with the pads offer great protection and comfert, the palms are like new even though i have used them around twice a week since september.
aero p2's we know about these do a great job
slazenger box :D
sidearm pro sticking out in the left hand corner great tool once you get used to it
then my caps
hyde cc
hawk green cc
tameside district
cheshire county.

really happy with my kit and all came at decent prices, with my discount from gary at spyer everything in the pic comes in at about £485 which is relatively cheap on this forum  :D

i play for the full county under 14's side however im based in stockport

yeah mate gary gave me a deal when i went down to the shop he's a really nice guy. I'm pretty sure they are indian made but he has a lot of top quality bats this one is my second which he replaced free of charge because my old one snapped, its got a very meaty profile to it and even if you dont middle it it still goes a decent way, if anything it may be a little too heavy for me but i still feel very comfortable using it and with some lead tape the pick up is really nice, if you want any more info feel free to pm me and im happy to answer any questions
