My best effort there was hitting the roof of the pub and splitting the toe of the bat

EIG is a great ground for straight sixes! Played in their 6 a side comp this year and saw one of the biggest sixes I've ever seen, cleared the pub, main road and hedge on the other side...a challenge for you there perhaps?!

I drive past that ground a couple of times a week and it looks tiny!

You should see mine!  Terrible for an opening bat...  But then I play for love of the game than because I'm good!

Yea you can easily edge a six at one end if the bowling has any pace to it

I would have been playing however I recently started a new job which includes working Sunday's so my season is over.

A real shame because we were unable to play any Sunday games throughout the season and now we finally have games I am unable to play  >:(

Latest game I have is on the 23rd September... Have never played a game in October before, latest was 28th September in 2009 in the middle of the standard 'UK September Heatwave' which seems to always get to us the week after the season finishes!
