County ins and outs
« on: September 14, 2012, 12:19:33 PM »

With yesterdays news of RHB leaving for pastures new i thought it would be an idea to set up a ins and outs page to keep up with the latest developments.

Looks like Brooks in leaving Northants in search of trophies and international honours. dont blame him really as northants is going down hill. they have pulled their academy out of the northants prem as they cant afford to run it.

Mr tomtek as you sponsor him - any news where hes going?

anyone else know any ins or out?

Text him today asking him to keep me updated on what clobber he will need, think its a bit early for him to reveal his move yet as obscure he's found a club yet but would presume he is looking for div 1 cricket.

well James Harris will go to Notts or, more likely, Yorks.  Brooks will probably go to the other.

I heard Jordan was interesting Lancashire, but if they are going to sign Shahzad then that would probably depend on Mahmood finding someone to take on his contract...

According to this, Mahmood is out of contract at the end of this season:

Both Harris and Brooks are prominent in the England Lions squad as bowlers so will want to be playing a decent standard next season to try and ensure they remain in the cross hairs of the England selectors.

I wouldn't sign Mahmood.
I've seen Mahmood bowl many a time, twice in the Big Bash and he is dreadful. What his thought process is I don't know!

Big signing for Sussex. Didn't realise that JB had announced that he's gone to Yorks - Another good bowler in their ranks.

When are worcester going to sign anyone?

They've lost some big names in the batting department and it seems they're going down the youth line - there's only so much of that I can take!
