I've been thinking about this and i havn't got a clue? say if i guessed mustard's score was 30 and total 110 .
When the actual score is mustard 49 and the total 500, what would my score be?
Would it be        49+500=549
                       - 30+110=140    So my score would be 409?

No, it is how wrong you were on Mustard's score (19 in your example) + how wrong you were on total (390)

All predictions in, many thanks for that, but the major problem is the weather up here in the North East.  It hasn't stopped raining all day and the forecast is grim to say the least.  The chances of any play tonight are less than 5%, shame as i have tickets for the game aswell!!!

All i can say is watch this space, with the weather forecast not looking much better this week, i can foresee problems getting the final of the competition played by wednesday, we may have to use games from the up and coming test matches or Pro40

Game off, Azeem Rafiq is illegible and has already played for Yorkshire in the competition so this match has been postponed due to legal difficulties

Yea i just heard that md14 didn't he play against nottinghamshire and they had him as an academy player so he was 'known' to the ecb instead of 'registered' with them. Looking at the weather didn't look like they would play anyway.

Due to todays match getting postponed and the weather forecast not looking great the next couple of days the game used for the semi finals will be the 1st test involving England v S.A.  This starts Thursday 10th July.

What the prediction required is

1) How many runs will England score in the 1st innings and

2) How many runs will Kevin Pietersen score in the 1st innings.

Same rules apply please get your predictions to me by 10am on Thursday.
