Any English cricketers using/ used Morrants ?.

Graham Gooch used them in 78 and Graham Roope used the Slazenger version in 77. Lots of English keepers used the keeping versions.

I could be wrong, but Edrich looked like he was wearing them in the "Grovel" series?

They very much look like the Morrant pads, but that's not an England sweater; more likely to be a Surrey one

I know that is a county game, but I went searching for photo evidence because I have seen a pic in a book where Edrich is knocked on his (No Swearing Please) by a Windies bowler and is given out LBW.

I remember the pads looked funny at the time and now that I know what Morrants look like, he was definitely wearing them at around that time as this photo confirms.
