Inners
« on: May 24, 2009, 06:14:08 PM »

What inners do people use for keeping?

I currently have some padded half chamois ones, but I don't like them... the padding take away your feel, and it "stuffs" the palm so the ball seems to bounce of the gloves a lot easier. I'm just wondering what everyone elses opinion on it is? I swear when I was younger they did half chamois ones that weren't padded, they were just a thin layer... that would do me nicely! Cheers

Are they padded though? Or are they thin chamois?

the woodworm ones i have at the moment are quite thick. i always find your never going to know how your inners will feel or how comfortable they will be until your say half way through a game when you have had them on for an hour and a half or 2 hours and you have sweated in them them you will know if they are good or not by then.

Have you thought of trying the Canterbury catching mitts as inners?

I just wear normal non-padded inners!
I don't like padded ones, plsu my hands are like shovels already, so even large keeper gloves feel very tight with padded ones!

Puma cottons I've found are best value!

I am James (although the offies might come out this year as well!), but my brother keeps, so do i sometimes in the nets. He has full chamois GMs and padded puma cottons, and we both prefer the cottons by a long way, its also a bonus that theyre cheaper.
