So no bag, shoes whites? Sunnies? Thigh pads, helmet, box?
You seem to have forgotten half your kit in your enthusiasm to snow off your £11 softs!! And does that include postage..

In oz dollars....

 Bat - Ca plus 15000 players  edition 7star $560
 Gloves - Bas players $80
Pads - morrant international ultralite  $240
 Shoes - adidas boost sl22 $200
Thigh guard combo - remfry inner /outer $245
 Chest guard (yeah , i know , i know...leave me alone ) - remfry $115
 Arm guard - remfry $85
 Compression - long skins $80
 Box - aero $10
 Helmet - adidas adizero  $220
Bag - aero standup tour wheelie $200
 Whites - pants , club shirt o.d.i , club shirt 2day , warm up shirt /shorts , club jumper , club hat and cap , thorlo socks - $170
Other - knee brace , strapping tape , arm compression sleeves , prescription sports glasses - $450

Plus - lighter bat / ca big bang trd $490 , spare /wet weather asics spikes $190 ,  2× spare bas players gloves $160 , plus some other miscellaneous crap .....

Funny thing is that i can replacate this kind of kit 3 or 4 times over - so i need to play until I'm at least 50 just to semi justify it .
Why am I so simultaneously happy and depressed all of a sudden?

Hmm, might get a bit depressed after totting this up!

Match bat, maker Unknown  350
Ss gloves which I love, 30 off here
Pads are about 10yrs old, and smell like it, some gn things, 30?
Asics gel advances, best kit purchase ever, fact. 90
Box is a sports direct special, 5
Shirts we got as part of membership this year and my adidas trolleys are at least 3yrs old, 20

So 525 ish

I've a shed full of part made bats etc that I pee about with and a bat press on the go which cost a damn sight more than my match kit!

I try to and have a decent eye, would never dream of batting without a box!!!

Really shows the cost of cricket

Bat salix custom 400
Pads puma iridium (storm trooper) 90ish new? Long time ago
Gloves: salix 65-75?
Boots: new acsics 90
Oakleys - 150
Bag: red ink 50
Shrey helmet, present
Keeper gloves: kooks 90
Keeper pads: puma iridium - no idea
Ayrtek helmet for keeping 120?
Other? Another salix bat, laver and wood bats. Nike boots, more salix gloves one international dukes ball and kook ball.....

I dont want to know how much. It is silly. It is over a ten year period though. Both sets of pads ar very old now.

I'm intrigued, why keep in the Ayrtek over the Shrey?

I'm intrigued, why keep in the Ayrtek over the Shrey?

Two reasons really. The ayrtek is alot lighter and i much prefer keeping in it. I also need two helmets cause i hate putting a sweaty helmet back on for the second innings. Im also a little superstitious. Netted all winter with the shrey so i should bat in it.
