Yes the grips cost us £3 + postage then £1 to charity and then usual business costs tax etc. profit per grip is around 40p.
No the products we sell are sold with the intention of supporting the racial issues in the world today.
To take on the Duncan Bannatyne persona once more - one, you are being done over on the manufacturing costs if that is what you are paying, and two, if the charity is your motivation, why not make the grips heaper (and therefore more likely to be sold etc) by doing it on a not-for-profit basis, which would also get rid of most of your business costs.
Its not that I don't like the idea of charity grips - I would not, personally, choose this particular issue though - but I do abhor the use of "charity" to mask "business" and to make yourself a profit!
