Strikes me as something very hasty, Prior hasn't had time to find a new sponsor and I can't see Slazenger having him as the face of the V12 if they knew he was going to leave.

Have put the question on Twitter out to his agent, Luke Sutton.

Lets not kid ourselves here though, it will be about money. That's what it's all about these days.......

Going to India unsponsored is hardly the worst move in the world with the financial power that some of their brands have......I'm sure someone will stump up the required cash sooner rather than later...

G&M could do with a new keeper with Mark Boucher leaving the interntional scene. New Balance could be on the look out for some players as well.

He's gone Slaz, Puma, Slaz ... so a return to the German giants could be on the cards!

Yeah I'm backing SS too, out in India I'm sure he'll have the chance to go to the factories and take a great pick of their kit + the quality v12's he'll get stickered up

A substantial wedge for a full England international who doubles up on coverage as he has the gloves/pads on when keeping and is a middle order batsmen too so you get the double whammy of kit coverage!

Probably in the £100k ball park.

"not with Slazenger anymore & someone is designing my own gloves for me"

From that comment, I'd lean towards Spartan getting him but could also be SS as they also do own ranges for players.

Harbhajan Singh once had the cheek to ask for $400,000 USD for all forms.

100 k is a huge amount for any size company in the uk ,that's a fair amount of bats to sell, ss must be the biggest company in the world ? Do they pay less tax/rates in India ?

Not sure that Newbery sponsor mate! They do make bats for the international players though! :)

Do Adidas sponsor a keeper? I'm thinking they might offer him sponsorship, but they already have Tendulkar and KP on board, which I reckon is more than enough to keep the sales going!
